Loved staying in the Beautiful Double Room! Pablo was an awesome host, giving us great tips and even connecting us with a fantastic guide. Waking up to birds and an agouti at breakfast was the highlight! Just be ready for some rough roads to get there.

this place had a stunning garden, but it was ruined by annoying noises from next door that kept me up. also, the pillows were incomprehensibly shabby, practically flat! i thought the staff might shower me with hospitality or at least a complimentary treat for my troubles, but of course that didn’t happen. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t.

10/10
The breakfast was off the charts, real tasty stuff, and Jose was super chill, always had great tips for what to do around. Loved how comfy the room was and fast WiFi. Only downside? Wish the shower had a non-slip mat, just to be safe, y'know? Crickets were the only noise, awesomely peaceful nights.

peaceful surroundings, close to Wild Life Refuge, newly renovated property
No AC in the room made it difficult to dry wet clothes!!! The absence of mosquito nets meant limited ventilation!!! A non-slip mat in the shower could enhance safety!!!

The hot water was great, but the shower could use a non-slip mat.

We enjoyed a spacious room with beautiful views and plenty of birdwatching opportunities nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the facility provided ample space for our kids to play safely outside. The location was peaceful with a lovely walking trail close by.
Accessing the property involved navigating some rough roads, which was a bit challenging.

A peaceful retreat in nature
Our stay at Casa Rayo De Luna was delightful. Waking up to an array of fresh fruit and expertly prepared traditional breakfast was a fantastic start each day. The hosts, Jose and his family, went above and beyond—always eager to share recommendations and help arrange activities like late-night tours. The garden bustled with vibrant birds, adding an extra touch of beauty to the tranquil atmosphere.
However, we found the road leading to the property a bit rough, which could be challenging for some drivers. Also, while the lack of screens on the windows didn’t attract many bugs during our April visit, it was a slight concern upon arrival. A little caution might be needed if you're sensitive to that.

The garden is a stunning spot, brimming with birds that turn every breakfast into a delightful nature experience. The warm hospitality of the hosts, who are proactive in sharing local tips and arranging activities, truly stands out. However, while the peaceful isolation is refreshing, the road conditions can be a bit challenging, and the absence of screens in the windows might let in some unwelcome visitors. Quick tip, the delicious sweet cakes are a must-try during your stay!
